We are Novato's only locally owned nursery. We like to say we are a chain of one! Our owners, Terry Leach and Diana McInnis, are both residents of Novato and are well known throughout Marin County.

California Bay Nurseries was founded in 1981 to serve the Novato area with a focus on quality products, customer service and integrity. Our landscape architects specialize in custom landscape designs that highlight the homes of residents throughout Marin County and the North Bay. Over the years, we have flourished into a full-service lawn and garden center, never forgetting the founding commitment to our customers. We are the only locally owned and operated nursery in Novato and have been serving the Bay Area for over 24 years!
